Breaking Games Announces Exclusive Partnership With Skydance Animation To Release Game For “Luck”


breaking gamesan award-winning game publisher and manufacturer, announced that it will publish the tabletop game for Chancethe animated film directed by Skydancing Animation for Apple Original Films, under an agreement brokered by IMG. Although pre-orders are available through this link, the game will officially launch later this month. Chance world premieres August 5 on Apple TV+.

The game Chance is based on the movie, using the same characters Sam, Bob, The Dragon, The Captain, Jeff the Unicorn and Gerry the Leprechaun. Sailing through the Land of Luck, this beautifully illustrated game combines strategy, bidding and – of course – Luck to claim spaces using cards that are auctioned off one at a time, with the ultimate goal of claiming four spaces in in a row. The film Chance revolves around the story of Sam Greenfield, the luckiest person in the world. When she discovers the unique land of luck, Sam must unite with the magical creatures there. to return his luck. The star-studded cast includes Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, John Ratzenberger and many more.

The Chance is a family game for ages eight and up and will be available from July 7, 2022 on and Amazon for $20.

Breaking Games is working with Fabacus and its proprietary technology, which aims to improve the audience experience of licensed consumer products, providing Skydance Animation and Breaking Games the ability to interact with consumers on a one-to-one basis through QR codes which are found on the Chance game, unlocking a host of rewards and experiences.

Consumers will have the opportunity to redeem Chance offers, such as exclusive digital art, phone wallpapers and exclusive deals on Chance some products.

Additionally, attendees at this year’s GenCon in Indianapolis can see the Chance game in action, along with other Breaking Games titles, when visiting the Breaking Games booth (2329).
