Infinity’s lobby design to convey Ronto’s approach to luxury living

Naples Renee Gaddis, NCIDQ, ASID, GREEN AP, President and Principal Designer at Renee Gaddis Interiors, creates the design for the luxurious lobby of Infinity, a new luxury skyscraper to be built by The Ronto Group in partnership with Wheelock Street Capital at the Pelican Landing Colony in Bonita Springs. The lobby will make an immediate statement and convey Ronto’s legendary approach to luxury living, an approach that has clearly captivated luxury home buyers. To date, Ronto has processed 64 reservations worth $176,040,000 at Infinity and 67% of the building has been booked. Eighteen residences are currently available for reservation.

Gaddis’ design intent is to create an elevated and luxurious look while keeping the lobby design classic, eclectic and comfortable. As expected, the design will incorporate wood and metal finishes with furniture finished in neutral and textured fabrics that are pleasant to the touch. Gaddis envisions visitors stepping through the double-door entrance of the lobby into a space that will be truly pleasing to the eye. Marble look porcelain stoneware flooring will be presented in a greige, white and black pattern. The tile will be set with a brass band between some of the tiles to coordinate with the brass detailing that will be used throughout the hall. A two-tiered wood nesting table with a dark finish will take center stage in the entryway to provide additional visual interest. White porcelain tiles will be incorporated into the reception desk with brass strips serving as dividers at the front of the desk. The wall behind the desk will create a stunning effect and will have backlit frosted glass behind a screen with a brass border. The wall opposite the reception will be detailed with concrete pillars at different heights with a zig-zag mirrored background with brass elements. The entire wall design is meant to provide even more visual interest.

A wide hallway will lead to the lobby lounge which will have Tasmanian oak flooring in an eclectic zigzag pattern. The two side walls of the living room will be brass metal screens. A pair of sofas and accent chairs will be finished with a neutral textured fabric that will be both comfortable and durable. The sets will be positioned in the center of the space and will face each other. End tables with a dark wood finish will flank each of the sofas. A cocktail table in the space between the sofas will feature a two-tiered table at different heights with a brass base and dark wood finish. There will also be a pair of swivel chairs with a neutral textured fabric.

The TV room/social bar and the main social room will be side by side and flow together. The medium tone Tasmanian oak flooring will, again, be placed in a zigzag pattern. The TV room/social bar will feature a sectional sofa with a neutral textured fabric and a wooden divider in a dark finish between the two sections of the sofa. Leather ottomans will function as cocktail tables and provide additional seating. The entire bar and counter surface of this lounge, lounging area, will be finished in underlit Crystalo white marble with gold accents. The comfortable bar stools will feature dark metal frames and provide an eclectic touch. The bar wall is covered in an antique mirror and has two 70-inch televisions. Between the televisions there will be brass shelves that attach to the mirror and run down to the counter. A separate TV wall adjacent to the bar will be finished with medium colored wood slats and will feature a built-in mirror and an 80” TV. Directly behind the television, the wall will be covered with the same porcelain tile as the one in the lobby. The wall between the TV/social room and the main social room will have an open bookcase in a mid tone wood finish.

Main social room furnishings will include a single back to back sofa in a neutral textured fabric. In fact, it will be a sofa with seats looking in opposite directions. An eclectic modular cocktail table with a dark finish will feature barrel shaped elements at either end which can be removed to leave the main section of the table which will have a lighter neutral stone top. Cocktail tables and two swivel chairs will be placed in front of each section of the back-to-back sofa. A double side table – probably a smaller console that can be used as a side table – will be placed at each end of the back-to-back sofa. The social room will also feature a ceiling detail with exposed beams in a mid-tone finish.

A sliding door will separate the main social room from a meeting/conference room. A long, custom-made table with a medium-tone wood top and wide X-base will be used for meals and board meetings and will be surrounded by comfortable chairs with casters. The back wall of the room is designed specifically for presentations and will include a large video screen as well as a pair of televisions. A dark wood console table with brass details on the bottom will be placed in front of the display wall. A long wall of windows will bring in natural light.

As expected, Infinity’s multi-level movie theater will have a total of eight recliners spread across two rows of four. A third row at the top of the seating area will have bar-height seating with comfortable bar stools. The bar itself will have a dark wood finish on a dark patterned carpet. A stunning six-step coffered ceiling will feature a mid-tone wood finish.

Gaddis plans to maintain a classic, simple style in the elevator lobby. The flooring will match the flooring in the reception area of the building. Mid-toned woodwork will adorn the walls. Long mirrors will flank both elevators with attractive sconces in the middle of each mirror. There will also be a decorative chandelier yet to be selected.

Both the men’s and women’s bathrooms in the lobby will feature a Calcutta Topaz porcelain tile countertop surface with a mix of white, gold and black colors. The same mixture will be used on part of the backsplash. The rest of the backsplash will be a dark tile to provide a cohesive masculine/feminine appeal. The fittings and the frames of two large oval mirrors will be in brass. There will also be brass pendant lights or sconces.

Infinity will showcase a full line of resort-style amenities that reflect Ronto’s commitment to providing a luxurious lifestyle. The tower will feature a beautifully landscaped outdoor amenity deck with multiple pools, including a 4,191 square foot family pool and a 2,500 square foot adult pool with a solar shelf. Hot/cold pools are also provided. An approximately 2,000 square foot game room, bocce and basketball courts, children’s play area, social seating, terraces with views and a nine-hole golf course will also be included. Amenities will be expanded to include a second nine-hole golf course and dog park during construction of the second skyscraper.
